Essential Skills Training and Recruitment (RTO ID 91729) in partnership with the Commonwealth Government, is excited to offer the Careers in Community Services program in the Northern Inland region of NSW.
This employment program strives to bring new enthusiastic workers into the Community Services sector in regional NSW. Bringing employers and job seekers together to create careers in our biggest growing labour market in Australia.
With the current COVID environment the program has been adapted to be delivered in a virtual environment.
This 2 week program is comprised of 6 virtual workshops delivered by one of our amazing community services trainers. Through their experience they will demonstrate what skills you need to be successful as workers in the sector. Included in this is the completion of one accredited unit of competency which can be used as a credit to a future community services qualification.
The aim to give individuals the opportunity to learn the skills they need to start a successful career in the aged care, home care or disability sector. Its a great mixture of accredited and soft skill training that prepares participants for what they might encounter as a care or support worker.
This program is fully subsidised through the Regional Employment Trials Program – a Commonwealth Government Initiative.
