Live Better – Orange NSW

Essential Skills Training & Recruitment (RTO 91729) in partnership with Live Better are seeking up to 15 participants to start their career in Community Services and join their team as trainee support workers.

It’s hard to get into jobs these days without training or experience, so this recruitment process has been designed to give you both. Selected participants will complete the CHCSS00114 Entry into Care Roles Skill Set and a short (unpaid) work experience placement with Live Better in Orange NSW. This way you get to see if this is the right career for you and you get to show the employer why you would be an asset to their team.

One of our team will contact you to run through the program details and to determine your eligibility. Suitable applicants will be invited to attend an information session on Wednesday 24th November 2021.

Information session

Date: Wednesday 24th November.
Time: 10am – 12pm
Venue: 107 Prince Street, ORANGE NSW 2800 (Live Better Office)

*No experience necessary – all training will be provided.

How the program works

Selected participants will undertake a 3 week (unpaid) training program starting Tuesday 30th November 2021.

The program is broken down into trainer led workshops and an unpaid work placement over a period of 3 weeks, where you will be mentored and supervised by an experienced support worker.

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be issued with a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment for the following three units of competency;

Live Better will then confirm the participants who will join their team under a traineeship model and complete the nationally accredited qualification – CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, whilst remaining in paid employment.

There is no cost associated with this program – This training is subsidised by the NSW Government.
