ENROLMENT & ELIGIBILITY

Course entry requirements, including Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) expectations and the level of digital capability required, are outlined in the course information provided prior to enrolment.

The enrolment process involves completing an online enrolment application, undertaking an LLN assessment, and participating in a pre-training review phone call with our Customer Relations Officer.

Students must complete all steps in the enrolment process, and ensure that all entry requirements are met, to be considered eligible for enrolment.

An enrolment will only be confirmed once all required documentation has been submitted and the applicable fees (or evidence of funding eligibility) have been received and processed.

FEES, PAYMENTS, REFUNDS

We’ll let you know all course fees, payment options, and due dates before you enrol, so there are no surprises.

If you need to cancel or withdraw, refunds are managed under our Course Fee and Refund Policy.

For government-funded training (such as Smart & Skilled or Fee-Free places), extra conditions may apply as set out in the program guidelines.

Your fees are always protected, and we have safeguards in place to keep your payments secure. All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) through trusted gateways like eWAY and Stripe, with your card details encrypted and never stored by us.

For extra convenience, you can also pay quickly and securely using Link, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

TRAINING & ASSESSMENT

Our courses are offered in a range of ways, face-to-face, online, or a mix of both.

At the start of your course, we’ll explain the assessment requirements and what evidence you’ll need to provide. Each task comes with clear instructions, and our trainers are there to support you along the way. If you already have relevant skills or previous study, you may be able to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer.

Student Portal
When you enrol, you’ll receive access to your Student Portal. This is where you’ll find your course information, links to online workshops (if applicable), learning and assessment materials, and where you submit assessments and view your results.

Assessment Strategies
Assessment methods vary depending on your course, but may include short knowledge tests, written questions, case studies or research tasks, or practical activities such as roleplays, observations, or presentations.

Workplace Hours and Observations
Some courses include compulsory workplace hours or workplace observations. These hours give you the chance to put your skills into practice and demonstrate competency in a real setting.

Training Plan
Every student receives a personalised Training Plan that sets out their units of study and assessment due dates. This helps you stay organised and on track, especially if you’re studying online and managing your own study schedule.

Study Commitment
To stay on top of your course, you’ll need to allow time each week outside of workshops or classes to complete assessments. As a guide:

Students in classroom or blended study modes should allow around 4–6 hours per week.
Online (distance) students should allow around 6–9 hours per week for readings, activities, assessments, and regular check-ins with their trainer.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

We’re here to support you. If you need help with Language, Literacy or Numeracy (LLN), have a disability, or require any other learning support, we’ll work with you to make sure you can succeed.

We’re also committed to equity, diversity, and inclusive practices, so every student feels respected and supported throughout their training and assessment.

Visit our Individuals Page for the full details.

RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

We believe learning works best when everyone knows what’s expected.

As a student, you’re responsible for:

Getting involved and actively taking part in your training and assessments
Treating trainers, assessors, team members, and fellow students with respect
Following academic integrity standards — no plagiarism, cheating, or false submissions
Keeping your contact details up to date with us
Following workplace health and safety requirements during training and any work placements

As your RTO, we’re responsible for:

Providing quality training and assessment that meets national standards
Ensuring your trainers and assessors are qualified and experienced
Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Protecting your privacy and handling your personal information with care

COMPLIANTS AND APPEALS

We want every student to have a positive experience with us. If something isn’t right, you have the right to speak up.

You can make a complaint about any part of our services.

If you disagree with an assessment decision, you may lodge an appeal within the timeframe outlined in our Complaints and Appeals Policy.

PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY

Your personal information is important, and we take care to keep it safe and secure.

Some details may need to be shared with government agencies for reporting purposes (such as AVETMISS and State Training Authorities), but only when required.

We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and will never share your information without your consent, unless the law requires us to.

MISCONDUCT & DISCIPLINARY ACTION

We want to create a safe, respectful, and fair learning environment for everyone.

Misconduct includes things like cheating, plagiarism, harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.

If misconduct occurs, consequences may apply. These could include a formal warning, suspension, or in serious cases, cancellation of enrolment.

COMPLETION & CERTIFICATION

You’ll receive your qualification or Statement of Attainment within (30) days of successfully completed all course requirements and finalised any outstanding fees.

If you ever need a replacement copy of your certificate, we can re-issue it on request. Please note, a small replacement fee of $20 will apply.

CHANGES TO AGREED SERVICES

We reserve the right to make changes to courses, timetables, trainers, or policies when necessary. We also reserve the right to cancel or postpone a program if minimum enrolment numbers are not met.

If changes do occur, we’ll notify you in advance wherever possible, and will provide support to minimise any disruption.

THIRD PARTY ARRANGEMENTS

If any part of your training or assessment is delivered by an approved third party, we’ll let you know before you enrol. Details of these arrangements will also be clearly outlined in your course information.

No matter who delivers the training, we remain responsible for the quality and compliance of your course, and you’ll continue to receive the same level of support from us.

LEAVING THE COURSE

We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and you may need to withdraw from your course.

Before you withdraw, we encourage you to speak with our team.  There may be support options available to help you continue your studies.

If you decide to withdraw, please notify us in writing as soon as possible.

Depending on when you withdraw, fees and refunds will be managed in line with our Course Fee and Refund Policy.

If you’re studying under a government-funded program (such as Smart & Skilled), additional conditions may apply under that funding contract.

If you do withdraw, you’ll be issued with a Statement of Attainment for any units of competency you have successfully completed.
