CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

This qualification reflects the role of workers participating in the design, implementation and evaluation of leisure, health activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Workers may be in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres, completing specialised tasks and functions in relation to leisure and health. While workers are responsible for their own outputs, work is carried out under direct or indirect supervision within defined organisation guidelines.

Pre-entry requirements:

This course is targeted at those already working in an organisation that has a leisure and health program running. In order to achieve the compulsory 120 hours of work experience, you will be required to log these hours in a relatable role (as above) and signed off by your organisation.

A competent level of literacy and numeracy is also required to complete this qualification.

Delivery modes:

Class-based workshops (Employment Based) – 1 face to face workshop per month over 14 months or one workshop per fortnight over 7 months at our Warabrook training facility.

Distance Learning  (Employment Based) – Learning materials and assessments are issued to students in hard copy or via email to study in their own space with access to trainers and administration support via; phone, email or scheduled support sessions.
